  1. I think it would be cool if there was an industrial hemp and a medicinal one.
  2. I'm happy that Banished 1.0.7 is out of Beta but I'm sad that only "major" bug fixes will be released and modding will no longer be officially supported, making the buggy debug menu (which has certain buttons not working) more frustrating.

  3. Towns had quite the following when it was actively being developed and now the fanbase has moved onto Banished. Since Banished is no longer being developed while Forest Village is, I can see the Banished fanbase moving on within a year, possibly longer if modders keep improving Banished in the meantime and don't switch to Forest Village. FYI, I don't have Forest Village yet.
  4. Or switch to Life is Feudal: Forest Village
  5. I hope to update Narrow Rowhouses to use individual materials, not 'building materials' and add candles as a requirement for the last 2 tiers.
  6. After learning how difficult it was to apply UV maps, I decided to upload my buildings as is to Google Drive. ShockPuppet and Kralyerg are great modders and modelers and I hope they can take over. Other than some small tweaks, these were done in January. It took me a long time to find them (the copy on my Surface got corrupted) and I should have uploaded the WIP in January. I can provide some of my WIP textures and link to the buildings that inspired my rowhouses. Feel free to do whatever you want with them.
  7. Lighting (fixtures), Advanced Building Materials, and Fine Building Materials could be new requirements for advanced buildings while less advanced colonial buildings could require wood (or lumber), stone, glass, iron, and possibly even bricks (5 materials).
  8. A few days ago Luke released the new beta. One of its features is allowing buildings with more than 3 resources for construction. Because of that, I suggest the Building Supplier get another output: Advanced Building Supplies. Recipe would be Bricks + Joists + Glass and have a higher trade value. That way more advanced buildings could require Building Supplies and Advanced Building Supplies. While you're at it, why not Fine Building Supplies too? It could be made from Hardwood Planks (made from hardwood at sawmills but not saw pits), Stone, and Copper Pipes. With those two new construction materials, my most advanced row houses could be made with Advanced Building Supplies, Fine Building Supplies, Housewares (fancy for final tier), and Lamp Oil or Candles (or Lighting fixtures made from lamp oil + glass + iron or candles + brass).
  9. It's included in MegaMod but here's an earlier, standalone version if you want to use only Colonial Charter (or you want to import the building materials). https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2oKJ9gdaP7dZ1JscWJLWVYwSTA/view?usp=sharing
  10. That looks great! I love your use of modern buildings, including my Rowhouses!
  11. MegaMod 0.06 did that to me often. Maybe 0.07 will be better? It has what CC 1.71 has.
  12. No. Using the beta Banished gives you bugs with MM 0.7 or CC 1.6. Certainly don't combine CC with MM since CC is in MM.
  13. Don't combine MegaMod with the individual mods, that gives you conflicts or duplicates.
  14. Great job! These look great! Just a head's up, Banished doesn't allow partial transparency.
  15. Stuck on an Amtrak Cascades. 2 hour delay. #FML

  16. You need at least 1.0.5 to run most mods nowadays.
  17. It absolutely is the issue
  18. The clocktower mod is on hold until gears or clocks are added to CC or MM.
  19. Narrow Rowhouses is now in the testing phase, after being functionally completed. Tweaking numbers and deciding on whether even tiers should be buildable are the final steps.
  20. That happens to me when my farmers live far away from their fields
  21. Progress seems to be coming along nicely (in PMs), just a heads up Tier 0 holds a family of 3, Tier 1 holds a family of 4, Tier 2 holds a family of 5, Tier 3 holds a family of 6, Tier 4 holds a family of 7, Tier 5 holds a family of 8, Tier 6 holds a family of 8 with more stuff and better warmth. Tier 1 should have the same warmth as a Town Abode and Tier 6 should consume the least firewood of all (warmer/more efficient than Estates) because of its modern construction and close proximity to other insulating buildings (since they would look weird by themselves).
  22. http://www.textures.com/download/substance0008/125766?q=stone This can be made to work. One F variant with this color, one with lower saturation, one with higher brightness.
  23. The Tier 1 buildings look good. I was thinking that there should be an F variant of the building (the one with the blue door) where the triangle under the roof was wood instead of stone. Maybe use a different, more angular (such as stone brick) stone texture for the rectangular base. The Tier 3 and Tier 4 buildings with towers in the front are based off real rowhouses in Bath (in England) so should come in brown and pale stone varieties. Here is a picture of Bath so you can see the predominant color of stone in the area.
  24. The stone foundation looks perfect! I meant to say greased paper windows, which can easily be textured by giving the windows a brown tint, preferably with a dark wood trim.
